Measure activity & posture

After the measurement has been set-up, the client puts on the VitaMove system, which can be worn under their normal clothes. The chest recorder (blue) is put in the pouch of the chest strap and the right leg recorder in the leg strap.  The measurement is started from the blue chest recorder. All other recorders will receive the start signal from the blue recorder wirelessly and stay exactly synchronized in time during the whole measurement. Each recorder stores its down data on a micro SD card so that in all situations measurement integrity can be guaranteed. The client now returns to normal life while VitaMove continues to record all their activities and posture, without influencing the clients behavior. This results in a very realistic snapshot of  a client’s normal life.

Analyze measurement

The measurement is stopped and the recording is downloaded with the VitaMove software. After that the measurement will be automatically analyzed and all relevant features are extracted. The researcher has now the possibility to study the recording in detail and manually annotate events or skip this step and immediately create a high level report. All signal traces can at all times be exported (in EDF format) for further analysis using third party software. Reports can be used to monitor developments over time of  individuals or groups.
