ECG recording

VitaMove can capture a 3-lead ECG using the VMExG amplifier module, yielding two differential Channels at 256 Hz (ECG_RA – ECG_LL, ECG_LA – ECG_LL). The software displays the 2 original channels plus the difference, yielding a 3 trace ECG derivation for visual assessment. Furthermore it detects the Heart Rate at 4 Hz, based on detection of consecutive R peaks, extra systole, tachycardia and bradycardia and computes the mean HR (and standard deviation) for the different postures and activities. An optional add-on software module is available that computes time-domain statistics of normalized Heart Rate (or R-R Interval) Variability, FFT spectra of HRV over various times, ‘Band powers’ over selectable frequency bands and various Ratio’s like HF / MF as a function of time.
